Correction: Iran-Fertilizer story

HANOI, Vietnam (AP) — In a story published March 27, 2026, about a fertilizer shortage due to the Iran war, The Associated Press erroneously reported Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the fertilizer industry. Saudi Arabia exports about a fifth of the world’s phosphate fertilizer. It does not produce about a fifth of the world’s phosphate fertilizer.
