Reconfiguring Internet Mail for Dedicated Connections
If you already installed Microsoft Exchange you may need to reconfigure some or all of your settings.

Click on Start, Programs, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Exchange Administrator, this window should appear.
Double click on Internet Mail Service in the right window. |

Select 'Retrieve mail using ETRN.' Mark 'Use these domains', 'Add' your domain name if it is not already there. |

Click on the 'Connections' tab. Select 'Inbound and Outbound' under Transfer mode. Under Message Delivery select 'Forward all messages to host' and enter authmail.core.com as the host name. Make sure 'Dial using' is not checked. Set 'Accept Connections' to any host. .25, .5, 1, and 4 are usually sufficient for mail retrieval times. Click 'Ok'. You should now be ready to start retrieving your mail. |
