Windows 95/98 DNS Configuration - Continued
NOTE: Before attempting any of the following steps, please be sure that you have your Windows 95 or Windows 98 CD-ROM. If you do not, either contact support@core.com, or contact our Technical Support Department at 1-800-715-7873.
Locate your "Start" button and left click on it. Move the mouse up to "Settings" and then over to "Control Panel" and left click on it.

Locate the "Network" icon, and double left click on it to open it.

Find where it says "TCP/IP" and highlight it. Now, find the "Properties" button and single left click on it.

Locate the "DNS Configuration" tab and single left click on it.

Enter the following DNS numbers where indicated above:
 | Primary DNS: | 209.153.128.4
|
 | Secondary DNS: | 169.207.1.3
|
- Make sure there is a black dot next to "Enable DNS"
- In the box next to "Host" fill in your username or the first part of your E-Mail address.
- In the box next to "Domain" fill in the second part of your E-Mail address.
- In "DNS Server Search Order" double left click in the space to the left of the first period. Now type in 209.153.128.4 you will notice that the cursor will automatically advance to the next space over as you type. Now click "Add" and the number will move to the box below.
- Again in "DNS Server Search Order" type in 169.207.1.3. You may have to hit the <SPACE> bar to get the cursor to move to the next space as you go. Click "Add", and again the number will move to the box below.
- In "Domain Suffix Search Order" type in the same as you did for the "Domain" box and then click add. The entry will move to the box below.
- Click "OK" then "OK" again.
- You will be prompted to reboot your computer, go ahead and do this.
