My Computer Desktop Icon From the Windows Desktop, double-click on the My Computer icon. (shown right)

From the My Computer window, double-click on Dial-Up Networking.

'My Computer' Window

Once in the Dial-Up Networking window, you should see an icon labeled as your CoreComm connection. Double-click on this icon.

'Dial-Up Networking' Window

In the Connect To window you should see a line labeled User Name with your login name already entered. Click once with the left mouse button immediately to the right of your user name.

'Before' Connect Window

Complete your new user name by typing in @core.com. (no spaces) Example: If your user name had previously been john, your new user name should be john@core.com. Your Password and Phone number both remain the same.
john@core.com
'After' Connect Window

After you have made this change, click on the Connect button and your computer will attempt to connect to CoreComm. Once it finishes the connection process, return to your Desktop and proceed to run your web browser in the usual manner. The new login name should be saved automatically and from that point you should be able to connect in the same manner as you have in the past.
